As a part of the project implementation, we wanted to improve following areas of school activity: - the language competences of the school staff, and thus, to involve more teachers in the implementation of international projects (especially transnational pupil mobility projects and eTwinning projects). The aim of the language courses was to help participants overcome barriers in speaking English and to gain their greater involvement in the tasks of the European Development Plan, e.g. during international exchanges, talks with partner institutions or with foreign parents. - the social exclusion, therefore to counteract the social exclusion of both students and school staff by increasing employees’ motivation and commitment - to prevent professional burnout. - searching for innovative methods of working with students, including students with disabilities, by increasing the competence and qualifications of teachers (with particular emphasis on language, cultural, methodological competence and the use of ICT in teaching, personal competences) and looking for methods of coping with stress, both for students and teachers.
Before starting to write the project proposal, a SWOT analysis in the field of teaching effectiveness was conducted in all teaching teams. Based on this analysis, we selected areas which we would like to get better results in. One of the ways, that made it possible for us to achieve our goals, was to join the Erasmus+ programme and obtain funds for teacher training within it. As we had already successfully implemented mobility projects for school education staff and transnational mobility projects for students, we wanted to continue our activities and implement the European Development Plan, improve the key competences of teachers and, indirectly, of students.
