Objectives

As far as students are concerned, the expected results were increasing knowledge, skills and competences in particular branch companies operating in graphics and film production. In the field of computer graphics and film and sound editing we aimed at checking whether the students had mastered the skills and knowledge from the classroom and could use it in practice. We also wanted to check whether theoretical background met the practical aspect of film-making and if working with a Spanish director required a different approach on the part of the students’ professional buildup, or is it coherent with what they learn at school.

Background

We applied for the participation in Erasmus+ project to grant development of Zespół Szkół Fototechnicznych, its teachers and students. Polish and European job markets sets higher and higher standards regarding key competences in the field of photography and multimedia. Participation in the project enabled us to fulfil the needs regarding improvement of teaching quality, language development of both students and teachers, gaining cooperation with foreign employers, preparing the students to operate on European labor market and helping the school rise to European standards.
