The objectives of the project were in line with the priorities and assumptions of the "Erasmus +" program and the Europe 2020 strategy, contributing also to the achievement of the sector's objectives, actions and activities within the framework of learning mobility. The most important of them were: • increasing the professional and linguistic competences of the participants, • continuous support for the development of key competences among participants, • increasing the employability of young people on the national and European labor market, preventing youth unemployment, • introducing long-term ErasmusPro internships to the internship offer, • personal development of participants, supporting the development of their independence, • equalizing educational opportunities for participants with fewer opportunities (60% coming from, among others, rural areas, from poor families), • further improvement of the quality of work of the school and its employees as well as development of its international activities, • long-term cooperation of the school with German enterprises from the hospitality and catering industry as well as logistics and strengthening the internationalization of the school.
The organization of foreign apprenticeships for students is part of the functioning of our facility. Good practice started in 2009 and working methods in the partner group developed during the implementation of several projects constitute invaluable capital for the school and the school community. The projects we implement keep bringing new and valuable experiences to the school and contribute to increasing the quality of its work and education. The school applied for this project because it wanted to continue the development of the institution in the local and international environment, increase its prestige and popularity in the region, ensure the development and improvement of key, professional, personal and linguistic competences and skills of the school community, and by equipping students with certificates recognized throughout the EU further increase their attractiveness on the labor market. Youth trips abroad for apprenticeships are the best opportunity for the comprehensive development of young people on the different levels. Through the implementation of the project, we wanted to enable young people to acquire practical skills and facilitate their easier transition from education to the labor market.
