Implementation of the project entitled "Internship abroad - new opportunities, better skills" was aimed at improving the professional and language competences of 29 students of the CEEH in Tarnowskie Góry. Students of the technical school majoring in: economist, advertising organization and freight forwarder were to undergo a professional internship in enterprises. Students who will be qualified for the project will be mainly foreign students. Thus, the implementation of project was aimed at improving their professional competences, gaining knowledge and skills in the field of organization and work culture of Italian companies with a European and global reach. Internships combined with learning about the culture, history and tourist attractions of Italy were supposed to influence the development of students' language and cultural competences. Our goal was to give students the opportunity to test themselves and gain professional experience on the competitive labor market. The implementation of project was to bring benefits not only to the students but also to the school. The possibility of improving the quality of vocational education and adapting the educational offer to the requirements of the European labor market is increasing.
We applied for the implementation of the project to support the achievement of the main goals of the school. These goals focus on the comprehensive development of students and their upbringing in the spirit of universal values. Our goal is also to prepare graduates for higher education or professional work. The implementation of the project enabled the school to enrich its educational offer and adapt it to the real needs of students and the school's environment. The program addressed to students of technical secondary schools, giving them the opportunity to develop through internships abroad, was for us one of the most important ways to achieve the above-mentioned main goals of the institution. It was also very important to continue the school's cooperation with international partners. Such cooperation results in the development of key competences of students and school staff. It also opens up new opportunities to participate in similar projects and translates into a positive perception of the facility on the local labor market.
