The main goals of the project were: a) Equalising opportunities on the European labor market for 40 students of ZSP No. 2 in Sieradz (within 2 years) and increasing their vocational mobility (e.g. by implementing pre-departure trainings, vocational mobilities and evaluation activities after returning to the country) b) Increasing the quality of internships by developing international partnerships and improving pre-departure training programs (e.g. by involving accompanying persons to gather information, introduce monitoring of pre-departure trainings and program improvement mechanisms) c) Development of the project team's competences (e.g. by implementing a new division of tasks, involving a larger number of employees) Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, a total of 35 international vocational mobilities were completed (instead of the planned 40).
The main goal of our school is to offer the best possible education for our students. In order to constantly raise its level, we want to implement more development projects because the education system does not have sufficient funds within the educational subsidy for the improvement of curricula, internship programs or additional classes expanding the competences of future graduates. This means that our teachers (especially the project team) have to acquire knowledge and expand their competences in other ways. The possibility of cooperation with foreign employers is also impossible under the standard system. All this leads to one conclusion - the implementation of international vocational mobility projects is necessary to properly prepare the students of our facility to meet the needs of the labor market.
