Background

The project „Gain experience, Use knowledge, Create the future” resulted from the needs defined in the European Development Plan for ZST in the field of preparing students to enter the labour market, supporting them in gaining competence, knowledge, skills and attitude towards their personal development. The European added value of these actions is a chance of working in an international group both for students and teachers, an active exchange of experiences, learning about a multicultural society. European projects have become a part of the school’s actions, students are very interested in this type of vocational and language education, they promote the gained experience. Students achieve better results in learning, behavior and their social activity. Apprenticeships are obligatory in the course of education at a technical high school and a participation in 4-week internships abroad gives young technicians a good ground to enter the labour market. The project enriched the educational offer, made it more attractive, gave the opportunity to acquire knowledge and skills, broadened the horizons, encouraged the school community to act and allowed young people to become more interested and active in the field of European development
