The implementation of the project allowed the employees of the Association to look at another form of cooperation, namely volunteering. Due to the mobility carried out and the results achieved, KSWP activates its employees and the local community. KSWP promotes the idea of volunteering as an activity which brings unquantifiable benefits and has a positive impact on people's lives. We use our employees as an example to show that volunteering also means meeting new people, gaining new knowledge and acquiring specific skills. We learned what methods to use to engage people in action and how not to let them burn out. The project has shown that being active in voluntary work can also significantly help in contacts with potential employers. A very important benefit is self-realisation, going beyond the professional and paid work, the possibility to prove oneself in action. Through the implementation of the project KSWP shows the benefits of volunteering and its impact on personal development.
The project " Voluntary service WORTHWILE!” gave the opportunity to develop skills and gain work experience during the implementation of planned mobility in the field of increasingly popular volunteering. It is very important for an institution to respond to social needs in a wise way, to be a source of knowledge and often the first experience, in this case the volunteering service. Undoubtedly, KSWP meets volunteers on a daily basis in its activities. The main reason for applying was also the possibility to learn good practices and experience from foreign institutions in the field of volunteer management, motivating volunteers to engage in various activities. The project's main objective was to increase the organisation's knowledge of the competences required in volunteer programmes, the staff gained tools to improve their work and the professional image of KSWP as an institution was strengthened.
