The aim of the project was to: Increase the competences, knowledge and skills of employees of the Lower Silesian Federation of NGOs through the implementation of 8 language courses and 4 job-shadowing internships in foreign institutions. Specific objectives: - improving the knowledge of the English language - increasing the ability to work in a group and in an international environment; - increase in soft skills; including social and civic competences, - increasing employees' awareness of the benefits of learning foreign languages; - introducing the methods of adult education in the field of civic education in Spain - familiarization with the methods of cooperation and support for non-governmental organizations in Spain - strengthening the potential of the third sector in Lower Silesia All goals were achieved qualitatively. We have not been able to complete all the mobilities (i.e. one language course and 2 job-shadowing).
The implemented project was the first such action in the history of our organization. Its aim was to prepare the staff to increase the international cooperation of our institution. As part of the project, we conducted language courses for our employees and job-shadowing visits to a partner organization. Our long-term goal is to professionalize not only our organization but also our member organizations. As the largest Federation in our voivodeship, bringing together over 240 other organizations, we care about supporting the entire sector and animating pro-development activities.
