Through the project we wanted to: improve our skills 1. to manage the organisation and acquire new competences for adult education. 2. to enable the staff of the association to acquire and polish their language skills. 3. to strengthen the activities of the association's staff in favour of dialogue across differences and to intensify our activities in the fight against hate speech by using new methods and tools.
We applied for this project because we diagnosed some shortcomings in the competences of the staff, especially in the use of English, the knowledge of which is essential in the implementation of international cooperation projects. We also wanted to broaden and make more attractive the offer of adult education on tolerance, strengthen our efforts in shaping adults' critical attitudes towards the content of the media, especially social media, with a particular emphasis on opposing hate speech and recognising activities aimed at sowing discord and dividing society. At the same time, we wanted to improve the managerial skills of our staff in managing and administering large grants.
