During the organizational and substantive changes in the period from 2018 to 2021, we diagnosed mainly two areas that we wanted to improve through the implementation of the project: - the need of development interpersonal skills in the team - practical use of the professional potential of our employees. Job Shadowing and the inspiration gained during the meetings were to counteract professional burnout, giving the opportunity to learn about other work techniques used in the partner institution. An additional advantage that could be achieved during the project was: - getting to know better our target groups; - expanding our offer and gaining a new audience. We wanted to be inspired by good practices about democratic methods in creating the cultural offer. An additional achievement was to improve the language skills of employees: English and German and to promote the idea of European integration. Because of the project Community Center for Arts and Culture in Łódź should become an Institution of 21st century.
One of the main goal of the personnel policy of the Community Centre for Arts and Cultures (former Polesie Art Center) is the continuous development of educators. The fact, that the earlier Project "Odkurzamy Dom Kultury" was awarded as good practice, encouraged us to take part in another Erasmus+ program and confirmed to us that it is the right way to achieve progress in non-formal adult education. Nomination for Eduinspirator 2018 confirmed us that Job Shadowing is a good way to multilateral development of both employees and institution. We want to continue creating cultural activities gaining experience from Job Shadowing events in volkshochschule stuttgart e.V. and Stuttgarter Jugendhaus Gesellshaft - Mäulentreff Stadtteil & FamilienZentrum. We applied for the possibility of co-financing this project because we want to become more professional. Its Important that our employees took part in short internships in a bigger and more expirienced institution with a long tradition providing informal adult education. Its influence had a positive impact on increasing the professionalism of our employees.
