With this experimental seminar we want to give chance to youth workers, educators and youth leaders that work with young people on the daily basis to exchange ideas and explore tools on how to increase youth participation and co-ownership of youth work through empowering youth to implement local youth initiative projects. The objectives of the seminar are: 1. Exploring and building common understanding on weaknesses of provider-consumer type of relationship in youth work and explore local youth initiative projects as a powerful NFL tool for building co-responsibility and co-ownership and promoting personal development of youngsters, cooperation with peers, inclusion and becoming more connected to the community and surroundings. 2. Providing a space for youth workers to exchange so far experiences with supporting youth initiatives and motivate them to use this approach for their daily youth-work. 3. Equipping participants with skills and knowledge on how to engage the young people in mini community projects by allowing participants to live through the experience of implementing own initiatives during the seminar -2 day mini-project days in Georgia. 4. To develop and implement concrete follow-up activities (at least 10) applying the experience from this seminar in the local youth work realities.
