Project "Fit and Equal" is a youth exchange that involves group of young people: non-disabled people and people with disabilities. They represent organizations from three European countries: Poland, Romania and Spain. The project aims to promote a healthy lifestyle and to combat discrimination, including discrimination on the ground of disability. Thanks to the project we want to prove that sport can be a great tool to fight against prejudices and negative attitudes. Sport, although assuming a certain degree of competition, it requires cooperation, commitment, efforts and also humility. Fair play rules are useful not only at sport, but also in everyday life. We want to show that a healthy lifestyle includes physical activity, a balanced diet and a mental hygiene. All of this make that people feel better, have more self-esteem, smile and infect others with that smile.
