Objectives

The "Startup Incubator" project is an attempt to creatively address the problems of young people from partner organisations. Constantly, the most important problem for young people is work. Unemployment is the great problem (in many regions of the European Union it is easier to meet a young unemployed person than an employed one), and unemployment is a structural and permanent problem (the longer a person stays out of work, the more difficult it is to get employment). However, finding employment does not solve the problem, as every third young European works much below his / her qualifications. Long-term work in a position far below the qualifications significantly hampers later career and professional development. Problems with work are of great importance for local communities, causing irreparable social damage and affecting the local economy. What’s important, these phenomena also have a very significant negative impact on young unemployed, often reflecting on their mental health (more and more frequently occurring depression and other psychiatric disorders), social position (especially in traditional communities this young, educated person should bring additional income to the household, and not staying dependent on his/her parents). The aim of this training course is to equip employees and youth workers of partner organizations with competencies related to creating an innovative business idea, creating a business plan, as well as applying for support for the implementation of business plans, as well as supporting entrepreneurial attitudes among young people. These objectives are convergent with the objectives of the entire project and will be achieved through the use of various non-formal education methods, with a strong focus on simulations (which allows for the most effective development of practical competences). Each of the methods used during the training will be an effective tool that participants will be able to successfully use in their work in partner organizations.
