Objectives

The project "Ladies and gentlemen I am cooltured" Will be implemented in two stages - first in Ukraine, then in Poland. Two groups of 10 people and two leaders from Poland and Ukraine will take part in it. The goal of the project is to support the comprehensive development of young people by creating its conditions for learning new cultures, understanding the principles of cultural diversity, acquiring skills related to savoir vivres, self-presentation, communication. The idea for the project was born during the project "Romeo i Julia XXI PL-UA – jednoczy się!" carried out in 2018. During its implementation, it was observed that young people had difficulties in finding places such as a hotel, restaurant, or theater. Participants signaled that they felt insecure and did not know how to behave. They watched and imitated leaders, or impressed them how they should behave? Then the idea for the project "Ladies and Gentlemen I am COOLtured!" was born. Young people from Poland and Ukraine, based on perceived deficiencies, provided information on which areas she would like to work on. In response to these needs, the project paid special attention to the science of savoir-vivre. The project does not run out of time to get to know the culture and traditions prevailing in the partner country. Each group will prepare its cultural evening. In addition, the recipients of the project, among which the dominant group are people who live in unfavorable economic conditions, will be able to take advantage of attractions that they would not be able to afford under normal circumstances or for other reasons (e.g geographical) would not have access to them. We want to show young people also places where you can participate free of charge in cultural events (e.g actions carried out in the Cultural Center, a cinema under the cloud, street theater, etc.), and encourage them to use such opportunities to spend time after completing the project. In this way, we want to distract these young people from the unconstructive actions that they happen to undertake. We assume that the support provided will pay off in the future and will have a positive impact on better integration with the social and peer environment. The project assumes that young people will acquire and develop competences related mainly to savoir vivre, communication and self-presentation, and all the outputs will enable verification of what they have learned.
