Project "Signposts of conscious professional choices" was created to meet young people's needs in the area of skills and abilities connected with getting an employment, finding out about professional predispositions and setting up a new business. Many of project participants, regardless being almost adults, are still not sure about their future profession choices. Changes on the labour market, automation in factories, vanishing of some jobs and creation of new professions strenghten the feeling of uncertainty about the future. According to numerous researches, there is lack of training of certain abilities connected with job counselling in formal education curricula.They are practical competences needed in an employment process such as searching for job offers, writing CV, covering letter, job interview. The number of project partner organisations is the highest in Douzelage Association in Chojna record, which means that project like this one is really needed. The aims of "Signposts of conscious professional choices" project: - preparing youngsters to be active on the labour market, - learning about methods of getting an employment, - getting to know the procedure of starting a new business, - getting to know strong and weak point regarding professional development, - promoting the spirit of enterprise among young people, - getting to know methods checking professional predispositions, - increasing the activity of young people, - getting to know about the support for young people who start new businesses, - acting against indifference as the way of behaviour of unemployed youth, - building solidarity with young people who are in difficult situation, - getting to know EU vocational mobility programmes, - making local politicians in Agros, Holstebro, Koszeg, Marsaskala, Rokiskis, Tryavnia, Turi, Zvolen and Chojna realize the problems of young people - building European identity.
