Youth exchange aims to raise awareness of the problem of consumerism in the modern world, to recognize the scale of this problem and to work out joint answers in the form of short recommendations addressed to other young people. The main activity, including specific activities, will be the preparation of a research report in English, which will then be published on the websites or social media of the organization. To do this, participants will collect necessary data on their problem in their countries before departure. We will then use them during methodological workshops, on which we will learn how to read and analyze the collected data. We will also analyze the Internet discourse and the analysis of visual materials (advertisements prepared by national groups before leaving fragments of films and series, photos from blogs and content posted on social networks Instagram and Tumblr). The collected materials will be the empirical basis of the above-mentioned report. The theoretical basis of the report will be conclusions drawn by us after the discussion cycle, both in the form of open space debates and small groups on the impact of fashion and trends on young people's decisions, tricks used by companies marketing. This report will be a compendium acquired by us during the exchange of knowledge and material, to which both each of us and people, among whom it will be disseminated, could also use while preparing and conducting other youth projects. Our project also has additional objectives, which are: raising the participants' sensitivity to the existing cultural differences and mutual learning about the cultural heritage of our countries and the lifestyle of young people in various parts of Europe.
