The project "our EvolUtion" responds to the problems of today's reality of young people. This year, 15 years passes for the entry of our countries into the European Union and the involvement of young people in civic life is extremely low. It is visible in the turnout in the parliamentary elections in Poland in comparison to other EU countries. The level of interest in youth policy has significantly decreased since the 1990s. Moreover, research shows that the current state of affairs is not due to a lack of knowledge about the EU or its rights, and the inability to use it in practice. We also learn that in terms of civic knowledge Polish students are at the forefront of European countries, but unfortunately their activity in the sphere of civic activeness is very low. It has increased significantly over the last 10 years, but is still lagging behind other European countries. Young people do not treat Poland's presence in the EU as a privilege and opportunity for additional development but as a everyday life. We see that not many of our peers are aware of the possibilities of personal and professional development and involvement in social and civic activities at the local and European level. Tha's, where the idea come from for this project. We want to compare the chances that youth had when we were children before 2004 and now and learn about ways of spending free time in various countries in the 1990s, ie playground games, customs, and social habits. The main goal of our project is to promote the EU and involve youth in social and civic activities, which we will achieve by completing the series of workshops and the final euro-picnic, during which we will involve and inspire young people to participate more actively in society.
