The main objective of the project is to continue activities undertaken under previous project mobility, namely to support young people and teaching staff in their professional development by allowing them to acquire new skills and qualifications through foreign professional practice. The target group of the project were students and teachers of vocational subjects at Zespół Szkół Technicznych im. Eugeniusza Kwiatkowskiego in Grodzisk Wielkopolski. The project also aimed at improving employability in the labour market, increasing the attractiveness of vocational education and training, increasing mobility in the labour market, exchanging experiences on vocational training methods and measures, promoting the ECVET system, using a foreign language as a working tool and a bridge to other cultures, transferring positive practices to Polish education, and acquiring new skills by students and teachers. The objectives were achieved; both students and teachers considered the participation in the project as an added value, positively influencing the quality of education, language skills, and personal development.
The realisation of the project is a consistent implementation of the Internationalisation Strategy at Zespół Szkół Technicznych im. Eugeniusza Kwiatkowskiego in Grodzisk Wielkopolski. The strategy assumes long-term, active participation in the European labour market and social life through adequate, qualitatively effective vocational education and training. The project contributes to improving the quality and efficiency of vocational education and training and increasing its attractiveness at student and teacher level through international cooperation. Joining the project enables students to gain skills and work experience through placements in specialised vocational training centres/workplaces abroad and, as past experience shows, also international mobility after graduation. Increasing staff mobility, professional and language development of teachers was also at the heart of the project activities. An important aspect in the context of the school as an institution and a general interface with the macro-local community is the continuous strengthening of school's European dimension. Each successive project is a mobility that opens up professional, ideological and cultural doors for dozens of young project participants.
