The project "Choose consciously – live healthily" is carried out by Zespół Szkół Technicznych im. Eugeniusza Kwiatkowskiego in Grodzisk Wielkopolski. (Poland) and Liceum Techninczne im. Św. Mikołaja in Montauban De Bretagne (France) and Zespół Szkół im. Theodora-Heussa in Wetzlar (Germany). In the project will participate 10 students and 2 teachers from each school. The main aim of the project is to increase the awareness and responsibility of French, German and Polish students in the role of consumers of grocery products while communincating in English and using innovative methods of teaching. The project will consist of 4 mobilities: three of them for students of each participating school and one for teachers. The first meeting will take place in Germany. Within this mobility it is planned to visit an ecological farm, participate in the production of ecological milk, visit a regional factory of processing with emphasis on eco-friendly production processes. The second location of the meeting will be Poland. Within this mobility it is planned to i.a. prepare balanced menus; cook and prepare dishes using ecological products; the latest trends in healthy food and ecological production prepared by lecturers of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. The Third meeting will take place in France. Within this mobility it is planned to i.a. participate in ecological production of vegetables; get to know the ways of fresh products distribution and their sale in bio shops; during workshops create maps of thoughts referring to ecoproduction, healthy eating and nutritional values of products are another activities leading to the achievement of established goals. Teachers' mobility will take place in Poland. It will be a meeting of teachers involved in the project who will exchange experiences, which will result in the increase of effectiveness and teaching. Besides mobility, it is also planned to i.a. write a blog; create a a profile on Facebook; upload a film on YouTube. An essential tool to carry out the project will be the eTwinning platform. It will unite all the countries into one system of ideas, discussions, creativity of every individual participant, groups of participants from individual countries and all the participating schools. All the activities connected with mobility as well as the activities within mobility will be carried out with the use of TIK and English language as the langauage of the project. The expected results of the project are: - increasing awareness and responsibility of French, German and Polish students in the role of grocery products consumers, - developing digital competence by creating multimedia presentations and films with English descriptions and comments. Reporting on the progress of the project in social media by creating a profile on Facebook and adding films on YouTube, working with eTwinning tools and carrying out a demonstration lesson in own classrooms. - developing personal and social competence within learning - getting to know French, German and Polish culture - getting students aware to educate through all life, helping them with the increase of mobility in the European Union region. - raising students' English language competence - carrying out in an innovative way the elements of core curriculum of English language, biology, chemistry, principles of nutrition in school and health education - exchanging experience between teachers as a way to increase effectiveness of teaching. Testing innovative and attractive methods of working in an international environment. The project will not only affect the direct addressees, but it will also have an impact on the school community together with teachers and others cooperating with the school. The long-term effect of the project will be the increase of education quality as well as strenghtening the position of the school in the local environment of educational services.
