The objectives that this project aimed to achieve were: 1 - Promote professional development of teaching staff (language skills, implementation and development of ICT in teaching/learning processes); 2 - Meet the students' competence development needs; 3 - Ensure diversified training for teaching staff; 4 - Promote the quality of teaching and learning; 5 - Increase the quality of educational and organizational practices; 6 - Improve students' school results and fight school failure; 7 - Promote the acquisition of skills, competences and knowledge that favor the construction of autonomy of the Group, the implementation of the respective Educational Project and a effective participation/intervention of parents and guardians in the school life of their children students and in school life; 8 - Improve the functionality and quality of the services provided. It also intended that the acquired skills would be integrated into educational practices by improving the level of linguistic proficiency, creating international partnerships, implementing ICT in teaching/learning processes, making classes more motivating, and improving school results.
Our school submitted this project in order to: improve the language skills of teachers in English; implementation and development of information and communication technologies in teaching/learning processes; improve management and leadership skills; and improvement of teaching/learning processes through the curricular development of new working methods and tools.
