Objectives

This project aimed to respond to the following objectives: 1.Implement innovative methodologies in the teaching/learning processes, flexible and efficient management of the curriculum, promoting educational success and combating school dropout 2.Develop management and leadership skills 3.Develop language skills and language learning 4.Improve articulation with the community (municipality, parents, institutions, companies,…)

Background

The AE de Arrifana is the home school of the Terras de Santa Maria Training Center. The remaining groups are part of the same training center and all belong to the same municipality (Arrifana, Coelho e Castro, Feira and Corga). The Arrifana AE was the beneficiary of Erasmus+ projects (Nº 2016-1-PT01-KA101-022480 and 2017-1-PT01-KA101-035407) that promoted a new dynamic among the teachers and, on the other hand, the training center sought to create new training possibilities for the associated schools. For this reason, a shared coordination with the coordinator of the center would allow the experience of the Director of the main school to be an asset to achieve the objectives of this consortium, namely in improving management, communication, leadership and innovation skills, causing a high impact. in the organization (management, collaborative work and innovation) since many of the directors had no experience in participating in KA1 projects. The Directors of each grouping, being also responsible for pedagogical, administrative and human and material resources management, would be the mobilizers of each school with their leadership for the creation and development of more active, creative and innovative schools.
