Background

The application aimed to observe children with Special Needs (SN) and how they are accepted by their peers, in classroom contest, therapies and in a recreational environment. Simultaneously, we intend to observe pedagogical practices and therapies in the promotion of effective equality and inclusion of students with SN. Through the analysis of other realities and the exchange of ideas with partners, we intend to provide teachers, other educational agents, with strategies to reinforce and consolidate the idea and actions in an inclusive school, with a conceptualization of Special Education (SE) that aims to be a school open to diversity, which seeks to create favorable conditions for the development of all students, whatever their individual and social characteristics. We also consider the education of students with SN to be a key element in promoting common European values, fostering social integration, improving intercultural understanding, a sense of belonging to a community and preventing radicalization. We also feel that the training of teachers in other European contexts, as well as an approximation of curricula and methodologies to be used, are necessary. AEVT has 3 CAA integrated; our intention is to improve every day.
