By implementing this project, the institution aimed to promote the European dimension, the differentiation of practices for a full Inclusive Education, the innovation and the quality of the teaching, learning and evaluation process, through: 1- develop collaborative work and cross-curricular practices among pedagogical teams, to facilitate teachers’ adaptation to the new teaching model and better work in teams so to develop students’ competences in a consistent and global way; 2- implement new leadership methodologies so that coordinators can be the leaders and facilitators of the changes in the educational practices. Some proposed activities focus on leadership, once it is our belief that to change practices and community involvement, all the leaders are fundamental to impulse the change; 3 - develop inclusion strategies, responding to the individual needs of students, to their characteristics, considering their full integration in classes and their relationship with others. The implementation of different types of inclusive measures requires a particular management by the teachers, since in the classroom there are students with different needs and specific characteristics that must be managed in a global way so that each one can acquire the skills for personal and professional success, responding to the motto "A School of All and for All". 4 - reinforce teachers 'motivation and confidence to better develop students' competences and thus be able to face the challenges of a modern, innovative and inclusive school and feel that they are part of a full European community through the acquisition of new and different methodologies and the contact with other European citizens. The constant change of education models and the current conjuncture have brought some demotivation to the teachers and some insecurity with respect to the educational practices they need to develop. Therefore, expanding the knowledge of new methodologies and observing other realities can reinforce the confidence and motivation of the teachers. 5 - strengthen partnerships to create a European school network and continue to cooperate in different projects once European partnerships are extremely important to schools, they engage the community, allow the sharing of experiences, create synergies, improve the motivation of both students and teachers and make them feel not only citizens of their own community but also citizens of a wider community that is Europe.
The recently released documents “Autonomy and Curriculum Flexibility”, “Student Profile” and “Essential Learning” aim at creating a different dynamic in schools, in their educational practices and in the way they work. They forced a reflection on nowadays practices and the path we want to follow, focusing more and more on cross curricular activities, collaborative work of pedagogical teams and inclusion to educate knowledgeable and active citizens conscient of their rights and duties and respectful of differences. Following these principles, with this project we aim at the personal and professional development of our community - taking into account the needs and strategic lines defined in the “Education Project”, the “Strategic Plan” and the European Development Plan - and at the increase in satisfaction and motivation of the educational community, with the purpose of projecting our school as a reference institution, at a local, national and European level.
