Our aims were: to strengthen and improve the teaching and learning process for all staff and pupils, to broaden our pupils' horizons, to provide adequate and suitable professional training to our staff so they became ready to be agents of change and evolution in our organisation; to increase the skills and competences' profile of our organisation; to be connected with the different stakeholders in the community and to exchange/learn better practices with other organisations in country and abroad. We wanted to have 27 people from our staff directly involved in the mobilities and indirectly the rest of the staff. By selecting the adequate participants from the different departments/ areas/cycles we intended to make sure that all staff would be involved in this project and consequently all pupils would benefit from the project.
We applied to this project aiming the development of all of the members of our cluster of schools, promoting their personal and academic growth. It aimed to educate for proactivity, creativity and critical thinking combined with high quality learning and teaching. Thus, it was intended, through the training of teachers in different areas, to give them the knowledge and skills to help students develop their own skills and knowledge, promoting scientific and cultural sharing with the educational community. This project demonstrated/represented our desire to be an evolving organization, with the ability to change and adapt to new environments and circumstances, trying to create opportunities and meaningful learning for all students and staff. We wanted to learn, innovate, adapt and generate, creating alternative futures for our students and employees. We believe that everyone should be involved in this process, building their knowledge together. We wanted to establish a culture of curiosity, evolution and innovation and to learn from external environments and larger and different learning systems.
