After the completion of this project, it is expected in the short and long term that it contributes to: - assist in the accomplishment of the six objectives foreseen in the Educational Project of the School; - materialize the objectives contained in the Strategic Action Plan of the Regional Plan for the Promotion of School Success; - contribute to the School's Training Plan, giving it a European dimension; - Enrich the Annual Activity Plan; - to promote the improvement and updating of the professional skills of teaching staff, with the purpose to change and modernize our school.
The decision to present our AGE-Campanário project to the KA01 application, within the framework of the European School Development Plan, is based on the need to strengthen and extend to a significant number of teachers, the development of training, to acquire skills in key areas identified in the School Education Project, the Annual School Plan, the Training Plan and the Strategic Action Plan of the Regional Program for the Promotion of School Success. Our purpose is to achieve a high educational success, avoid early school leaving, fight against indiscipline, modernization of the school, valuing the diversity of methodologies and teaching strategies and learning activities, deepening foreign languages and improving management skills and school administration, as well as the realization of autonomy and curricular flexibility. In this perspective we intend to intervene in the following key areas: Early school leavers / school failure; New innovative curricula / educational methods / development of training courses; Improve the quality of institutions and / or methods (including school development). These areas are related to the mission of the school and to the accomplishment of the goals established in the Educational Project: To provide a school model that is guided by humanistic principles of flexibility, adaptability and daring, sustainability and stability that promote the continuity of education, based on pedagogical intentions, principles and values.
