The overall objective was to connect the AECCB with European education and training networks and promote organizational development in a national and international context, with an impact on improving student outcomes and promoting equitable learning opportunities. Other axial goals: To train the staff, within the scope of global citizenship, with innovative pedagogical practices, with diversified and technologically progressive material resources. Responding to the challenges of global citizenship, the expectations of the Camillian community, the ambition to want more and better, namely by creating broader perspectives for students (3857 students/439 employees), only possible with the impetus of international activities, in the light of the Erasmus+ program. Connect AECCB's Educational Project Vision "To consolidate, through the collective effort of all educational actors, the merit and status of a School that makes a difference in education - in the academic dimension - in the human dimension - in the creative and innovative dimension, continuing an ideal that seeks to make life in society compatible, consolidating itself in the promotion of a globalizing education", with the other structuring documents, Strategic Action Plan, Improvement Plan, School Success Promotion Plan, Annual Activity Plan, in the guarantees everyone's success. Take the opportunity to learn through collaborative and multicultural experiences the similarities to the Portuguese reality (DL 54 and 55) and bring new approaches corresponding to curricular flexibility, domains of curricular autonomy and Inclusive Education.
This was the first Erasmus+ AK1 project that the AECCB developed. The application emerged at a time when conditions were considered to be in order to take advantage of the numerous Erasmus+ opportunities. We signed up for the possibility of expanding the concept of the educational community and to do so by deepening internal cooperation and in collaboration with a vast network of international partners and to enforce the Educational Project's motto: Together to Build the Future. We therefore aim to engage in a process of training the staff, key elements for the quality of education, which would enhance their professional development with a multiplier and transforming effect on the activity developed by the school in solving its challenges, providing teachers with new tools to respond to students' needs and potential. We have always considered a qualified educational response to improve internal levels of preparation and confidence, responding effectively and with quality to the global challenges of the 21st century, to the strategies and purposes of deepening the European project defined by the European Union and its European development plan. The intention of deepening the projection of the AECCB in the international context was a focus on the added value for all those who assume positions in the school organization, teaching staff, non-teaching staff and students, as the main actors of the entire school process. Thus, we focus on Inclusive, Multicultural, Digital and Multilingual concepts and competences in staff training, opening horizons corresponding to the AECCB's strategic vision, which is oriented towards the quality of learning; the improvement of the school environment where the multiplicity of "multiple and international learning" leads an entire educational community to a living environment of "unity in diversity"; the organization and allocation of material resources with the deepening of knowledge in digital resources; in curricular and pedagogical innovation; in results for equity, inclusion and student excellence. To this end, we focus on training in three key areas: technologies, inclusive practices and collaborative work, which involved twelve mobilities, relating to two courses and a job shadowing.
