The Municipality of Santa Maria da Feira (MSMF), attentive to the Erasmus+ funding opportunities for VET, SE and AE and based on the fact that none of the school groups based in the territory of the SMF municipality having any track record in submitting Erasmus+ applications in the VET sector, we challenged the school groups to form a consortium with the municipality. The MSMF has experience in consortia in the SE sector and in AE, but had no experience in VET projects. On the occasion, it launched the challenge to the school groups of the public network with VET, the school groups de Argoncilhe, the Coelho e Castro and SMF school groups. Notwithstanding our desire to raise awareness and involve schools towards internationalization and towards common goals for promoting school success and training human resources for the implementation of new diversified learning methodologies, we also intended to provide students, teachers and employees an international experience with moments of non-formal learning, preparing young people for the job market and for participation in civic life.
