ETIC_Algarve IN_Motion 3.0 was a project in which we wanted to set new goals and consolidate the school's position as an educational institution with international and modernized training and work opportunities at the level of what is done throughout Europe. This consolidation was and continues to be based on a pedagogical strategy in which there is a constant need to acquire and update professional skills, whether of the team and trainers, or of the trainees. It was important to provide trainees with skills and abilities suited to the European job market, minimizing the gap between the end of their studies and professional integration, whether to continue their studies in Portugal and Europe to achieve a higher academic qualification, or to start their professional activity at European level. For the staff and trainers, we wanted, through In_Motion3, to have contact with good practices in reference schools, create and strengthen networks of networking and sharing know-how for personal and professional growth and fulfillment through the acquisition of personal, social and technical skills; multilingual and multicultural, entrepreneurship; and transnational cooperation.
In 2015 GIZ WE CAN TRAIN YOU/ ETIC_Algarve had its first application to the Erasmus+ Program approved and the objectives that were defined at that time have been part of a work of continuity and growth. It is intended that the experience acquired by the trainers and staff, as well as the experience of the trainees, can be translated into a training of excellence in line with what is best done in Europe in the areas of creative industries. We have around 150 mobility activities for trainees, staff and trainers, which have greatly contributed to the internationalization of our teaching, through the recognition and validation of our curriculum plans, and some of the schools and companies with which we have worked have also identified good practices in us, with a relationship of sharing and exchanging know-how experiences. Why did we apply for this project? Because we want to continue to expand work opportunities for our trainees in the European market; we want them to have more options for continuing their studies at a higher level and so that trainers/staff, by participating in this type of projects, can act as agents of change in the European education landscape.
