With the implementation of this project, it is intended to contribute to reinforcing the employability of young students and employees, by promoting their autonomy and personal development. EPVT wants to contribute to the development of key competences for the full exercise of an active citizenship in today's society and world, and believes that this also involves providing an international, multicultural and tolerant environment for its students and staff. It is therefore also important to contribute and provide an opportunity for teaching staff to improve teaching skills and practices. Through international projects, namely this one, EPVT intends to consolidate its image as a reference educational community at both national and European level. In general, the aim is to improve the overall performance of the school, to reinforce its competitiveness in the field of education and professional training.
This application was based on previously identified needs and interests within the process of dissemination, clarification and sharing of experiences between students and teachers, about mobility activities for traineeship under the Erasmus+ Programme, held annually at EPVT. Although we have another project underway, we progressed to this one to meet the expectations of finalist students for carrying out an ErasmusPRO mobility. After the very positive experience of the 4 colleagues of the restaurant area, 4 Tourism students, 3 Kitchen/Pastry and 1 Restaurant/Bar students showed interest in carrying out a similar experience. At the same time, 4 teachers registered a desire to deepen their knowledge in the professional area, presenting proposals for Staff mobility abroad for training in job shadowing, in partner schools with whom EPVT maintained contact. This application therefore reinforced the KA1 project that was underway, offering the possibility to 8 more students and 4 teachers to enjoy international experiences and build learning, by exchanging know-how, through contact with peers, in different cultural and professional contexts.
