It is important to start by mentioning that European projects, for several years, have had an important impact on the school community that is part of the D. Sancho I School Group. In this sense, it was intended to continue to give a European dimension to the training of students in the vocational courses and allow the skills acquired by the trainees to become an added value to companies in the region, but also to our institution. In association with companies, the school organizes meetings, where mobility experiences are presented in order to attract entrepreneurs to our institution, promoting qualification and employability. Entrepreneurs know that these interns have the ability to bring innovation and avant-garde procedures, offering companies an improvement in ingrained processes, also enabling a change and improvement in the company's paradigms. On the other hand, interns go back to school to participate, in addition to forums with companies, in dissemination and motivation activities. In this way, they show their colleagues the importance of the knowledge acquired during training at school, but also in the experience of completing an internship abroad. For all the reasons mentioned, this project is essential for the affirmation of our Group, to the approach to companies, for the valuation of vocational courses and its students, so that they can obtain competitive advantages in the globalizing labour market. The needs that are sought to be met with not only mobility, but also integration and sharing of learning activities and dissemination activities and exploitation of results are at the level of language skills, technology and professional development. In addition, the group's network and contacts have a greater diversity of methodological options that allows it to incorporate a more critical and broader view of its role, available strategies and standards of demand/quality.
The group acknowledges that learning for/ in the “Read the World” through active participation in European projects contributes to the integral development of our students. It was this premise that led us to develop this European project suited to the needs and goals of this school community, where the guiding principles for the elaboration of the Strategic Plan for European Development (PEDE) are inscribed. The school's internationalization process is part of the context of globalization, with economic, social, educational and cultural policy implications. Globalization forces the definition of new strategies for a better positioning of the school in relation to its peers, continuing the consistent and systematic practices developed since 2007.
