"Build up your life" is a Youth Exchange designed to tackle youth unemployment and to give marginalized youngsters practical, personal and social skills in a creative, meaningful and ecological way using the rural context as the working space to explore their skills. With this Project, the involved youngsters will develop and recognize their inner potential allied to the potential of community, rural World and eco-sustainability - using as tools Permaculture and other sustainability techniques. Our main goal: is to give marginalized or youngsters with few opportunities new perspectives on their possibilities, as they are the community future. We want to make them more confident and aware of their opportunities related with sustainable development, at the same time that we approach several personal skills and competences - that are mostly the identified 2019's Erasmus + KA1 programme priorities. Also we want, by means of sharing between participants and NGO´s, to explore practical skills directly related to permaculture (the carefully chosen tool to improve the competences mentioned above as well as participants' practical capacity of daily choosing more sustainable paths to their lives). All this will be achieved within a warm, safe and experienced environment provided by non-formal education giving primacy to promoting diversity, intercultural and inter-religious dialogue, common values of freedom, tolerance and respect of human rights (also priorities of 2019's E+ KA1). Step by step, we believe it is time to empower youngsters to feel confident and able to create the necessary change together, with a big picture of society and the different cultures within it as well as the environmental problems (that are everyday more urgent to solve) that can be fixed by everyone with its daily choices, at the same time social issues (like youth unemployment) are consequently and gradually solved.
