The project “Music for Chamaleons” is an intercultural youth exchange for 30 young participants, aged 25-30 years old, with fewer opportunities, being 2 young people with disabilities and all without a permanent job and seeking new educational learning, rare and expensive for their age. The place of the exchange is Albergaria-a-Velha, chosen to host this project both for the APV from 7th to 10th JUly and the youth exchange from for 11 days from 6th to 16 September 2019. The project "Music for Chamaleons" is an exchange where participants are involved in art and intercultural workshops, integrated with aimed visits at the daily care centre for people with disabilities (APPACDM) on our territory and a public event of community sensibilization with the objective to broaden the opportuniites of social inclusion of our youth thanks to a local, regional and international synergy where to share and learn best practices from many places of Europe and the world. The themes chosen are: 1) "Inclusion and equity", because this is the starting point: we believe that our young people of the APPACDM daily center in Albergaria and foreigners residing in the Partner countries have the same right to live experiences of international exchange, that there is a need for breaking the stereotypes that exclude them in a marginal role in society, and giving them the opportunity to travel, meet new people, find new ways to communicate, work and experiment with special workshops. This intercultural exchange can be a great opportunity for empowering their autonomy and development, aimed at their integration and social inclusion in their own countries and in the world. 2) "Entrepreneurial learning - entrepreneurship education", because all 30 participants in the exchange do not benefit from permanent or sustainable employment, have financial difficulties and need to be ackknowledged with social entrepreneurship. For this reason, we have envisaged the strengthening of employability skills through the preparation of YouthPass and EuroPass combined with the study, sharing and learning of the good practices of the partner organizations: they organize art and music workshops, national and international festivals, and public events in which our participants could take part. 3) "Creativity & Culture", because we are curious to discover all the cultures involved in this exchange. which in the evening will have the opportunity to organize games and activities, also showing videos, which serve to clarify the stereotypes and dissolve the pre- cultural judgments related to the various countries present and to disability. We would like to recreate traditional and modern atmospheres of our countries to show who we are. With the other partners we have agreed workshops dedicated to the creation and production of music, acting arts, painting, drawing, cooking and dancing. In short, the objectives that we set ourselves in the partnership in harmony with the objectives of this key Erasmus + action are: 1. The psycho-physical well-being of the young participants through targeted workshops of music and art, targeted visits and a public event. 2. To break down the stereotypes and shed light on the reality in the countries and in the partner associations, favoring the social inclusion of disadvantaged young people. 3. Offer participants the opportunity to prepare, manage and evaluate group activities, also with a view to work preparation. 4. Inform the participants about further possibilities of the Erasmus + program, linked to the Youth chapter (exchanges, voluntary work and training), but also the opportunity to study abroad (university Erasmus) or carry out a work placement abroad (VET). 5. To disseminate various healthy elements such as respect for diversity, brotherhood, the inclusion of all, sharing and common good. 6. Promote non-formal learning, perfect for young people who can not benefit from formal age, economic difficulties and special needs. Specifically, we will adopt the methodology of Experiential Learning, also known as "Learning by Doing Methodology"6. Promote the non formal learning, perfect for youngsters who cannot benfit from the formal learning due to age, economic and migrational issues. To ensure that participants can learn proficuously, we will adopt the "Experiential Learning Methodology", also known as the "Learning by Doing Methodology". The theoretical discussion follows the activities, so the participants can be spontaneous in all the activities and workshops as they used to do when they were children. In that phase, the direct experience of the happenings determined the first and deepest learning. Unlike then and better than then, after the activities, in the reflections and evaluation, the experiential learning adds intellectual and analytical tools to guarantee awareness of growth. The"Experiential Learning Methodology" will stem, then, into the "Educator to Learner" and the "Peer to Peer" Methodologies.
