Background

Pavel Dan Theoretical High School from Campia Turzii started the project "Feel FREE - For a Revival of the Educational Environment" as a necessary stage in meeting the target goals in its Institutional Development Plan for the period 2016- 2020. The aim of the project is the training of our staff in order to promote in our institution a modern education which supports and systematically uses interactive techniques and methods, encourages innovation in teaching by making use of the elements specific for the new technologies and by practising models and learning styles which encourage the students' critical thinking and their abilities to apply their knowledge in practical contexts. The target group of the project was formed of 15 staff members (primary school, secondary and high school teachers, managerial staff), who had the opportunity of being granted by Erasmus + Key Action 1 and therefore took part in training mobility activities throughout Europe. As a result, they developed their pedagogic and didactic competencies, their digital competencies, as well as their management and leadership skills in such a way as to support their institution in becoming a real European educational environment.
