Through this project we set out to achieve the following objectives: - Development of teachers’ digital skills in order to use ICT tools during their classes - Development of teaching skills to ensure the integration of new technologies in the classroom, as well as an integrated, cross-curricular approach to the teaching-learning-assessment process - Diversification of student-centered teaching methods and in accordance with modern education, by correlating the theoretical part with the practical part to increase the quality of the teaching act - Creating a specific cultural and intellectual climate that meets the needs of the community, while opening the school to other educational factors and a European dimension - Development of partnerships with other institutions, interaction and exchange of experience with foreign partners - Providing training for the direct beneficiaries of the project and afterwards disseminating the information and skills acquired in order to involve a high number of teachers and students in extracurricular activities and to further develop ICT skills useful for teaching and learning.
The re-opening of "Tudor Vladimirescu" National Military High School in 2016 was a challenge given the continuous evolution of society and its educational needs. Aware of the fact that the Erasmus+ program will offer us the possibility to modernize the educational process, we applied for this project with a view to correlating our institutional needs with the evolution of modern education, but also to increase the visibility of our institution. We considered that the integration of the new technologies into the teaching-learning-assessment process as well as the use of modern diversified teaching methods is a priority in this digital age in continuous transformation. Although the teachers in our school have a lot of teaching experience, they are constantly interested in ongoing training and in the innovations in the educational system, not only in our country, but also in other European countries. We had the conviction that this project will lead to the acquisition of new skills and to the development of partnerships with other teachers / institutions in Europe and exchanges of experience that would contribute to the improvement of the teaching process and to the strengthening of the European dimension of our institution.
