Implementing this project we proposed: O1- improving the digital skills of at least 5 teaching staff throughout the duration of the project O2-. the acquisition of some work tools and psycho-pedagogical skills in the didactic activity with students with special educational needs of 2 teaching staff O3.-increasing the motivation of earning for students with SEN and those from socially disadvantaged backgrounds by using work methods acquired at activities within mobilities O4.-a better internationalization of our school by promoting European values and harmonizing working methods and tools with those of other European schools
We identified at the school level the needs and concerns of the teaching staff that were not fully achieved on a national or local level. From the analysis carried out, a weak level of digitalization was observed, not all the teachers used digital resources, Web2.0 applications in class, but only those (teachers) who were involved in eTwinning projects. As our school obtained the title of eTwinning School, we considered it necessary to set an example of good practices in the community by permanently integrating modern resources and methods to motivate students, to bring improvements to the educational act in our school. At the same time, another weak point of our school was the lack of training for teaching staff in terms of the inclusion of students with special educational needs and requirements and those coming from disadvantaged social backgrounds, differentiated and individualized work methods. From the self-evaluations of the teaching staff and from their yearly reports, it was observed their desire to train on a European level, in order to effectively follow how to work in class with special students and how to effectively integrate tools, digital applications in lessons, in extracurricular activities.
