Background

The project Be the teacher your students need! aims to improve the professional competences of the teachers of the National College M. Sadoveanu not only by participating in professional training programs, but also by assimilating and applying by our teachers of modern, participatory methods, digital platforms and applications adapted to the students’needs, obtaining examples of good practice, in organizing, planning and streamlining the activity of decision-makers at school level. Within the project there were held 4 courses, attended by 16 teachers. The mobilities carried out in Croatia, Great Britain, France and Italy were preceded by the linguistic, pedagogical and cultural training of the beneficiaries. The materials provided by the trainers as well as those made by the participants were reunited in a project guide, posted on the school platform, constituting a useful resource for the didactic activity and ensuring at the same time the dissemination, multiplication and promotion of the experiences gained, in school and outside it. Methods and examples of good practice have been integrated in educational activities, leading to the development of professional skills and the improvement of school results.
