Through the implementation of this project we aimed some things that could change the perspective of teaching in our school, helping teachers to acquire innovative techniques. We realized that the teachers need real tools to understand better how to solve the main problems in achieving a creative process. They also need to improve their communication skills in order to be more efficient in transmitting the content of the lesson, and to build relationships in the community. We wanted to strengthen the teachers’ skills to think and to work in group, to be „real” and accessible to the pupils. Another aim was to develop the teachers’ ability to integrate ICT techniques and skills, the new technologies in the compulsory curriculum. In this way lessons can have a new and different approach, according to the European standards. Another important aim for our school was to help the teachers manage correctly all the cases of bullying that occur. By introducing the ENABLE program, from one of these training courses, the teachers will be able to know how to identify and to adapt strategies, so every situation that occur to be managed with success.
The priority of our school, as it results from its mission, is emphasizing the process of globalization, but also keeping and promoting the national and local traditions. We applied for this project in order to succeed to improve teachers’ skills and abilities to integrate in their lessons innovative strategies, the new technologies and also helping them acquire management techniques in order to combat the phenomenon of aggression in school. The 3 training courses covered our needs, such as: offering our teachers the skills to innovate their teaching style. We wished that the teachers learn everything about these competences but also to learn how to become creative during their lessons, to adopt the critical thinking and to work through cooperation. We also, wanted to have well-prepared teachers, so that they can use web solutions (Edmodo, Google educational tools, Flubaroo, Quizzes, etc), and the techniques used by them to make lessons more attractive and better for the process of learning. Having many cases of bullying in school, we wanted to equip the teachers with abilities, knowledge and essential skills necessary for combating the phenomenon of aggression by using a holistic approach.
