The objectives of the project were: The general objective: Ensuring an inclusive education through internships in EU companies for professional and personal development and for a good integration on the labor market of future graduates. Specific objectives: O1:The development of knowledge, skills and competencies specific to the professional qualification for 32 10th grade students, through practical activities in EU companies; O2:The development of participants' English language and intercultural skills; through contact with Spanish and Portuguese civilization and culture O3: Development of social and entrepreneurial skills for participants, through direct contact with prestigious economic agents from the EU O4: Creating sustainable partnerships with organizations, institutions and economic agents from the EU; for the purpose of institutional development To achieve these objectives, the VET trainees completed 60 hours of practice on the CDL modules integrated in the school curriculum, at competitive economic agents in Spain and Portugal. The objectives were fully achieved, giving equal opportunities for education and instruction to all students to develop personally and professionally, including to those with fewer opportunities.
The project was conceived starting from the need to improve the professional training process of the students, by developing their competences, knowledge and skills in the field of the professional qualification Technician in economic activities. Due to the lack of valuable local economic agents willing to carry out the training of students, we wanted through this project to ensure the practice of these students in prestigious companies, in order to give them the chance to develop themselves in a competitive work environment. Through this project, we wanted to develop the participants' communication skills in English, their entrepreneurial and cultural skills, math and ICT skills, essential requirements for graduates to integrate into the labor market. The implementation of the project expected behavioral changes from the participants, by increasing the motivation for learning, increasing self-esteem, acquiring certain norms of conduct specific to work, such as seriousness, punctuality, fulfillment of tasks, all necessary for a good socio-professional integration of the graduates. Within the project, we wanted to promote inclusion in the school, ensuring equal opportunities for education and instruction for all students.
