Background

I applied for this type of project because the human resources of Simion Mehedinți Technological High School understood that for the development of the school, but also for personal development, it is necessary to collaborate with educational partners from other countries, by participating in European projects, which facilitate the consolidation of the professional skills of. students with CES, with a view to an efficient integration on the European labor market. Also, the exchange of experience led to the assimilation of, for example, good practices with a positive influence in the development of professional, social-civic, digital skills, cultural awareness and expression, respectively linguistic. By getting involved in such projects, the graduates of our high school had the opportunity to build a European training profile defined by interest and concern for lifelong learning, both in formal and informal educational contexts. The students had the opportunity to train as European citizens, and in this way our school promoted cultural diversity, the exchange of values from the local, national to the international scale, respectively combating the discrimination of people with disabilities through professional insertion.
