The consortium arose out of the need to find concrete solutions to address the needs identified in member high schools. The main objective of the project was to develop the skills of computer science and STEM teachers in robotics and modern web technologies. The other objectives were: training of computer science teachers to approach the subject in an interdisciplinary context, exchange of experience and best practices between the institutions involved, improvement of the language skills of the direct beneficiaries and intercultural exchange between course participants and external partners (from Italy and Portugal).
The context that led to the development and submission of this project was that teachers and students could strengthen and improve both their theoretical knowledge and the skills needed to develop it, in areas such as robotics and modern web technologies, by conducting optional courses with adapted course support. The need to create optional courses for students with practical application in these areas was the basis for the training of the teacher members in the project team.
