Background

LT Corbu is a VET educational institution, from the rural area, located in a mountainous area, isolated with low economic potential The students come from families with reduced material possibilities, divided, with parents gone abroad, social workers, without a stable income, they cannot support their children to continue their studies, or to have access to the national and European labor market. The material base is insufficient for a quality professional training The poorly represented business environment in the area, with a rather reserved attitude towards vocational training partnerships, lead to a strongly theorized education and implicitly to large discrepancies between the real professional competencies of IVT graduates and vocational schools and the requirements Rural technological high schools face marginalization, even a certain degree of discrimination. Students who come to vocational school classes have a low level of key competencies, due to isolation, trapped mentalities in the family / social environment. Through the project we want to improve the quality of education, the degree of training in VET schools, improve access to education and training (equal opportunities) for students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
