Background

In its activity, the Edupurtus Association has as main goal the development and transformation into a provider of open educational resources in the field of adult education, that is, the initiation of quality actions, the development of its own programs and in partnership with similar organizations in the country and in Europe for the exchange of good practices, the initiation of strategies for the social inclusion of people from disadvantaged backgrounds. This project was submitted starting from its needs and purpose, from its strategic vision on the European activities that will support the fulfillment of the objectives inscribed in the Statute, from the professional needs of its trainers. The needs of the association and its objectives as an educational organization are satisfied only through the competences of its trainers. Therefore, the association focuses on the development of the ICT skills of its trainers, which they can use for the initiation of social inclusion strategies for people from disadvantaged backgrounds. These being priority themes of the Erasmus+ program, the trainers of the association initiated the project "ICT and media in the service of inclusive education - TICMEDI".
