Ecopolis is actively involved in projects concerning education and sustainable development, as such we constantly work with resource persons involved in educational activities. While analyzing Ecopolis’ management/staff and volunteers training needs we have identified some areas of interest we’d like to develop, through the implementation of European mobilities and cooperation. In particular, we’ve identified Italy as a country characterized by the adoption of innovative and up-to-date practices, since a long time, in our field of interest. As regards Ecopolis’ plans to improve staff and management competences, the following topics of interest have been highlighted: - Capacity to cooperate at international level in a mutual exchange of issues to be addressed and implementation strategies; - Development of fruitful relationships, in the area of environmental, socio-economic sustainability, with public authorities and the private productive sector - Capacity to conceive and implement innovative/original fund raising/campaigns, where the civil society plays a prominent role in providing funding.
