The main objective of the project was to contribute to the stimulation of the Edufor members’ efficiency and motivation and developing personal and social abilities in order to be able to initiate and support the implementation of various activities. Objectives: O1. Developing socio-emotional competences and stress management skills in Edufor through a series of European courses that were attended by 6 of our members as well as different activities that were attended by 60 members O2. Developing the local, national and European dimension of the organization through a series of at least 7 activities (6 workshops for the Edufor members as well as for 30 people that are part of different vulnerable groups, one course that had CCD Dolj as a partner, 3 communication sessions, 1 booklet and 1 Epale project ) for our members and partners focusing on the development of personal and social abilities.
There are two major reasons that led to the development of the “Let’s Go Emotional!” programme: 1. The main objective of Edufor is to provide education and formation in order to ensure the personal and professional development of people that belong to different age groups 2. After an analysis of the activity of the Edufor members we have reached the conclusion that some experience a low level of confidence in their own skills and abilities, fatigue and high levels of stress determined by different personal or professional challenges as well as lack of motivation to initiate and develop activities in the organization. At the time of the analysis the activities of Edufor were not that numerous and covered only the local area not focusing significantly on the adult education. Based on this analysis, we decided to initiate the project “Let’s Go Emotional!” with the intention of developing different skills and abilities among our members. The aspects we had in mind were the following: social abilities, communicative skills, stress management, emotional intelligence, developing the involvement in the organization in order to employ a wider range of activities and to attract finance.
