The idea of this project came out during one Erasmus+ project that we have been part of, but the topic is very familiar to us. In our local community we have been witness to several social exclusion cases based on different issues that affect mostly youngsters. Young people between the ages of 15 and 24 account for more than one quarter of the Europe's population. They represent the largest group ever to enter the transition to adulthood. One commonality among many of these young people is exposure to an increasing number of vulnerabilities and threats. The life choices they make are inevitably subject to many social and economic constraints. Limited access to decent employment, education, health services and civic participation are all factors that prevent young people from playing a full role in their societies. In order to tackle with a new approach this topic again, we have done a SWOT analyse that include also our potential partners. In this way we develop our project strategy and chose the best suitable partners. The project is based on local real needs and will involve youngsters which face up social exclusion from different reasons. It is imperative that the voice of the most vulnerable and marginalised young people is heard because their contribution, their perspective and their knowledge is invaluable and unique in the effort to forge a better society for tomorrow, for everyone. Young people who have the most difficult lives and the most uncertain futures can really teach us about the meaning of, and the path towards, a Europe of equality, justice and peace. The main purpose of the project is to encourage the development of competences for 30 youngsters to promote tolerance across cultural and social groups till the end of the project. Main objectives: • To promote during the project and develop in maximum 6 month after the project a better social inclusion strategy among 5 local communities involved; • To improve access for at least 100 youth with fewer opportunities from 5 local communities involved to leisure-based, non-formal education, education, employment, health and social care; • To highlight more clearly on European level the impact of social exclusion to youngsters by the results of this project.
