Objectives

By implementing this project, we want to achieve our 3 SMART objectives: 1. Develop competencies for 33 youth workers to provide first-aid measures and interventions in case of emergency. This goal will be achieved through the 7 days of activities, especially through medical workshops, simulations and non-formal training methods for youth workers. 2. During the 8 months of the project, 33 youth workers will develop their skills to provide first aid measures in the local community and will teach young people in NGOs. This will be done through medical workshops, the Theater method, meeting with decision makers and workshops in the Dissemination Stage. 3. During the 8 months, the 33 young workers will know how to prepare by non-formal education methods young people from the local community and local youth NGOs, how to act in case of emergency or first aid. This will be done by writing the First Aid Guidelines, simulations, meetings with Roxana Suhanea and Alina Barbinta as well as the activities of the Dissemination Stage. The project is not limited to mobility activities and we will focus on acquiring key competences and we will use the ASK (abilities, skills and Knowledge) method so that young workers are involved from the preparation stage to DEOR STAGE. We will go deeper and this project involved 16 youth workers since the writing stage. They will participate in this project as workers and correspond to the profile of the participant. They contributed to the SWOT analysis of the Partnership and to the implementation of the 25 questionnaires for the members of the partner NGOs. CPDIS archived 200 responses (25 questionnaires x 8 Partners) in which we understood the needs and we were able to build the "needs tree". Starting from this, from the fact that Cristi Florescu knew the coordinators, and with some of them we collaborated on E + comes to rescue - I built the project activities in collaboration and I made a Partnership Agreement - AP - so that all partners to know their attributions. Also, all youth workers who will participate in this project will sign a Learning Agreement - AI - in order to know their tasks. Concrete: The needs of youth workers: • Have a low level of knowledge about how to intervene in first aid • Have a low number of workers (1 max 2) who are able to provide first aid or how to proceed in an emergency (some NGOs do not) • Workers have a low level of self-confidence in case of emergency / first aid Needs of NGOs: • Low number of youth workers who know how to provide first aid if needed • The need for a First Aid Guide to be followed by NGOs - especially in Erasmus + • The need for organizational development of partner NGOs • Lack of an Emergency Handbook in Erasmus + Mobility Community needs • According to a DIGI 24 stigma, about 80% of Romanians do not know what to do first: https://www.digi24.ro/magazin/stil-de-viata/viata-sanatoasa/aproape-80-intre-romani- not-know-you-pay-first-aid-356 419 • In our local community in Slatina there were no non-formal activities on the topic of first aid / emergency in the last 2 years • The need for the decision-makers to be aware of the emergency situations that may occur (we will involve those from ISJ Olt) In addition to these, we also add perishal events experienced by coordinators / pax in projects or in everyday life. Regarding the ASK method, after the project: 1. Attitudes - Attidudes • youth workers will gain confidence in themselves - self confidence • They are capable of being responsible • Are prepared to intervene and learn other young people from OS and the community - first aid measures in case of emergency • They are more open to other cultures • They are aware of how to work in the team • They are able to emulate empathy towards young people with fewer opportunities 2. Abilities - Skills: • I can use the first aid kit without fear • they Can provide and teach other young people how to give first aid • they can teach what to do in an emergency • They can be involved in dissemination activities - in the two workshops on the exploitation of results • can work effectively in the team • can have logical and coherent thinking • Can communicate more easily in English • can manage a crisis situation 3. Knowledge - Knowledge: • will know to combine non-feminine education with practice in first-aid measures • will know how to use the first aid kit • They will know what to do in the event of heartburn, heart stroke, and stroke • They will discover new methods of non-feminine education • Learn new things about other cultures of the countries participating in the project
