A major problem in recent years in the European Union is the increase in the number of young people at risk, and in particular the number of young NEETs, which at the micro level adversely affects both the local communities they are part of (including the family) and at the macro level have an adverse effect on the national economy of the respective countries negatively affecting GDP by up to 4%. Considering that approx. 15% of young people in Europe aged 15-29 are in the NEETs category, meaning that 14 million young people, we want to run this project aside, both to help young NEETs to find a job or to continue their studies , but also to work with young people in our local communities who we know they are more likely to get into the NEETs group - by providing coaching and personalized mentorship. Generations of young people lost today will cost the EU in the medium and long term far more than the solutions now identified, they must not become an invisible generation, so the partners in this project, at the urging of the young people, have proposed to identify and make known good practices on a large scale. The young people from 5 organisations (Scout Society Association - Romania, EuroSUD - Italy, Ayuntamiento de Maracena - Spain, CSOD - Slovenia and HELLAS FOR US - Greece) proposed to develop and implement the project „Coaching for youth 1.0” addressed primarily to young people around them who are not involved in any activity (future NEETs) or are engaged in a very weak and disorganized way having no plan for their lives, neither personally and professionally. The aim of the project is to prevent young people from 5 local communities from joining the NEETs youth group by offering counseling services by youth workers, in particular coaching and mentoring. The concrete objectives of the 2 mobilities (one for youth workers '06 - 14th of July 2019' and the second for young people '19 - 27th of August 2019') are: Awareness of 40 young people aged between 16 and 24 years of the benefits of coaching over one year period; Facilitation for 40 young people from 5 local communities to continue their studies / to find a job over one year period; Increasing the capacity of 25 youth workers during the training to offer counseling services to youth; Offering coaching / mentoring programs by 5 partners for young people in their local community over one year period. The target group of the project are young people who are likely to enter NEETs, young people in the NEETs group and young people inactive in the local community. The benefit of the project is to provide counseling services to young people between the ages of 16 and 24 on a number of important topics for their age (eg studies, job / job selection, local or international volunteering) within 5 European communities: Maracena, Kozani, Triggiano, Ljubljana, Targu-Jiu. In the long run, organizations involved in the project will promote the use of counseling services in youth activities for their integration into local communities and the European community.
