Objectives

Because the Vidin county is at the border, the town with the same name is an important customs point for Bulgaria, for Europe, but also a Danube port, which has access to both commodities, tourists and migrants, and Craiova is quite close to several customs localities and on the way out of the country to the west of Europe, it is necessary to educate the population on migrants in accordance with the specifics of each country, the understanding by the local communities of the refugee status, their rights and obligations and the modalities to prevent the reactions of aversion and even violence of the population towards them, issues that will be approached, developed and promoted by the two mobilities. Bulgaria's neigh- bourhood with Turkey and the realities of its inhabitants, as well as the transit of Romania over recent years by refugees, are important topics for discussion for the young people's understanding of the need to know and respect European values and to promote them through accessible means. Thus, through the project, involving young people coming from migrant families, the partners will consider one of the priorities specific to the youth field in accordance with the European Youth Strategy 2019-2027, focusing on promoting quality, innovation and recognition of youth work, namely to support the inclusion and employability of young people with fewer opportunities, with particular emphasis on young people at risk of marginalization and young people coming from migrant backgrounds, including immigrants and refugees. Analyzing the situation of migrants in the perceptions of both partners, the project will promote European values such as respect for human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, the rule of law, as well as respect for human rights, including minorities, values common to the Member States, a society characterized by pluralism, non-discrimination, tolerance, justice, solidarity and equality between women and men. Erasmus + offers partner organizations the opportunity to implement a project to facilitate the learning of these values by young people and their sharing, through artistic action, to the communities they are part of. 30 young people participate in skills acquisition and development through non-formal methods, promoting creativity and spirit of initiative, personal, social and professional development, overcoming social, economic, cultural, educational, exploratory, knowledge and the recognition of European values such as tolerance, the fight against discrimination of migrants, refugees and inequality, inclusion, the defense of democracy and human rights, European citizenship and European conscience and their transmission through artistic instruments - street paintings - to the communities they belong to and who have not yet fully understood them. The project aims to develop the social, civic and intercultural competences of the participants through the acquisition and promotion of European values and their transfer to communities, with artistic instruments, for non-discriminatory and inclusive growth of the society, facilitating the inclusion of minority groups and migrants. Objectives 1. Increasing the social, civic, intercultural and critical thinking skills of 30 young people, by understanding the European values and their transfer to 10 social art works, within 2 mobility 2.The personal development of 30 young people through the knowledge and practical acquaintance of non-formal methods: analysis, self-analysis, debate, brainstorming, public café 3.Implementing the skills of team work, organization, mobilization, creativity and the ability to analyze and select the 30 young people, synthesized in 2 exhibitions and 2 social art albums.
