The idea was to train as many teachers as possible to write projects in order to get funding and improve the teaching process in school, but also to purchase the necessary equipment which can be used not only for regular activities but also for extracurricular activities. We also wanted to improve relations between teachers - students, teachers - parents and teachers - teachers, to create a more positive atmosphere in school and to involve parents more actively in school life and the implementation of many activities because only through cooperation and involvement of all participants in school life it is possible to progress and achieve better results. In addition, the idea was to train teachers to apply new teaching methods and thus improve the quality of teaching, to enable students to learn more easily and to achieve better results in the final exam and contribute to more students enrolling in our school.
We applied for this project because we wanted to include our school in European trends, to contribute to the internationalization of the school, to get acquainted with school systems in other countries and to learn something new that we will be able to apply in teaching. In addition, we wanted to connect our school with other schools through various projects, to work on developing competencies of both teachers and students through teacher training, to involve as many teachers as possible in writing projects and thus provide additional funds and use it to equip the school and in that way improve the quality of teaching, but also to further motivate students to be more actively involved in teaching processes and extracurricular activities. We also wanted to improve the atmosphere in our school and strengthen the relationship between teachers and students, teachers and parents, but also the teachers and thus making the quality of school work better and keeping or increasing the existing number of classes because our city is facing a constant reduction in the number of students.
