We wanted to improve the competence of our students by learning the technique of making 5 Belgian products and gaining new international experiences. We also wanted to improve the competence of the teachers by implementing the newly learned techniques of making Belgian products in their work. Through participation in the project, the director of the school became familiar with the management of the school in vocational education in the area in accordance with European vocational education and the requirements of modern leadership.
We applied for this project because the vision of our school is to create a stimulating environment for the development of the potential of our students through the construction of an efficient organization and management of the school in vocational education in accordance with European vocational education and the requirements of modern leadership. Developing professional competences, such as working on machines and creating new products, will contribute to the fact that students will have a better position during employment or self-employment (opening their own bakeries.) Students will directly work on the machines within the school bakery workshop and will be trained to make five bakery products characteristic of the host country. They will also master the technological process of making chocolate pralines-truffles. During this mobility, students will develop competencies for cooperation and teamwork, learning new content and adopting the goals of the teaching programs. The director of the school and the teacher, participants of the project, will get to know the organization of professional practice and the characteristics of the curriculum of a modern European school. Schools will establish cooperation and exchange experiences and examples of good practice in the field of vocational education.
